What Do Online Publishers Want To See?

Digital advertising specialists want to see how inventory is performing across their entire network of sites to help them become more profitable and marketable to advertisers.


By carrying out research efforts to understand what exactly was most important to the end user by means of surveys and interviews with Client Service and directly with their clients. Including KBB.com, Cars.com, and Urban Daddy, we collected the necessary information to arrive at an informed prototype to vet with the product and engineering team for feasibility.

The platform was being rolled out to give publishers complete transparency of how campaigns are performing on their site and which ad units could be optimized and better monetized. Intense research was done to understand what the “Ad Operations” department consisted of and how it varied from company to company, in roles and responsibilities.
